In our kinder room, we set up a cultural table for children to explore the different cultures and countries. Our cultural space was quite popular this week as a lot of the children engaged at this table by looking at the pictures and talking about the national symbols of India. One of our children from India talked about the language she speaks at home and expressed interest as to what other languages the teachers can speak.
As part of the family collaboration, we asked one of our families who came from India to introduce their country via a zoom meeting with the children. Mr. Komal and his wife Komal accepted our invitation and presented their informative PowerPoint on Zoom. The children seemed quite excited to see Jiana’s family and learn more about India. We would like to thank our family for sparing their time to make such a great contribution to our kindergarten children’s learning.
