A sensational and calming stroll, the Kevin Hoffman Walk is a passive, scenic trail with significant native and indigenous vegetation. The walk is a gentle walking track that showcases a unique collection of native plants, sculptures, birds and wildlife.
Recently, the children at Story House Lara were so lucky to enjoy a Reconciliation Walk to the ‘Kevin Hoffman Walk’ in Lara. We discussed and recognised plants that we have in our own indigenous edible plant and herb garden here at the service. We also discovered some new types of plants that were very interesting such as a Native Hibiscus in full flower and a few years more mature than the two that we planted in honour of ‘Sorry Day’.
