Lisa Lazarus Evans Park

Lisa Lazarus

Our service is like a canvas, where the children and families are the vibrant colours breathing life into our collective picture. I take great pride in ensuring that each family is supported and celebrated for their unique contributions to our community’s growth.

Commencing my journey eight years ago as a student in an early learning centre, my affection for children became the driving force behind my pursuit of becoming an Early Years Educator. Starting as an assistant, I was fortunate to glean insights from seasoned leaders, enhancing my passion for this field. Progressing to a Room Leader role, I found my stride in fostering an environment that stimulates children’s creativity and learning through new challenges. In my career in Early Childhood Education, I’ve navigated through rewarding experiences and encountered invaluable learning moments.

My approach involves recognizing each child as a unique story waiting to unfold and be explored, emphasizing the importance of a welcoming environment for their growth. Witnessing the happiness of families as they leave their children in our care fills me with immense pride. We strive to create a ‘home away from home’ experience, cherishing the cultural diversity within our Evans Park family.

Embracing the belief that “Every child is someone’s heart and soul,” I prioritize providing a secure and nurturing educational setting. Guiding a child’s learning journey and witnessing their newfound knowledge is incredibly fulfilling.

Transitioning into the role of Service Manager after raising my daughters allowed me to deepen my industry knowledge while supporting and honouring my team, the children, and their families

There's so much on offer for your little one

The aim of Evans Park ELC and Kindergarten is to provide a safe family like environment where children feel secure, loved, respected and nurtured.

Through a secure safe and nurturing environment the children will learn who they are, build positive self-esteem and relationships.

The children will develop as a whole. We will aim to provide a social and educational program that is multicultural in its sensitivity and approach.

The centre will aim to support children with additional needs. They will acquire the knowledge that they are unique individuals and their special abilities, interests and backgrounds are an important contribution to the community.

Gender or race will not limit learning. The children will grow in their awareness, understanding and acceptance of others. We will aim to teach appropriate ways to gain respect for the natural environment.

The educators will foster children’s curiosity, creativity and interest in the world and the environment around them.

Children will be invited into decision making and educators will work with children to resolve conflicts peacefully. Educators will be highly motivated, loving, caring and qualified to care for your child.
