Story House Early Learning Chinderah

Here at Story House Early Learning Chinderah, we offer care for children from six weeks to six years old. We love working alongside families to support each child’s unique learning journey. Our Educators spend time developing trusting relationships with the children, allowing them to learn through play and fostering their connection to nature. We demonstrate the inherent value of getting outside in nature through play-based activities. As a service, we have a strong focus on including Indigenous perspectives in our play spaces and curriculum. Included in your fees are Japanese lessons, yoga, sports, bush kinder and dance lessons.

We went to Story House Early Learning Chinderah for a tour and my son was instantly comfortable. He made beautiful connections with the educators and although upset on drop off settles very quickly and has a beautiful day while there. He is so happy and confident when I go to pick him up. Such a big bright beautiful centre with amazing staff and great room sizes.

Deb has been working with children for more than 13 years. She spent four years managing a smaller service and really wanted to expand into managing a larger service before she began working for Story House Early Learning at our Story House Early Learning Chinderah in September of 2020. Deb worked as Cabin Crew for 10 years, spending a lot of time travelling before she decided to stop and begin her own family, falling back into childcare. She loves spending her weekends with her family at the beach, fishing, bike riding, or going on little local camping trips. Deb’s family have lived in Chinderah for more than 30 years and she has always wanted to be based at a service where she can support her local community.

At our Story House Early Learning Chinderah, we have five Early Childhood teachers working across our service, supporting the different age groups. Each member of our team is a long-standing member with a gentle and kind approach to caring for your children. We focus on each child’s needs and interests to create our programs and curriculum. We believe that working in partnership with families will ensure a constant line of communication between families and educators. We believe this is a key component to encourage the growth and development of the children in our care.
