Construction on Story House Early Learning’s brand-new service, Oak on Erin, is well under way with its six-room, Hamptons-inspired service taking shape… and it looks amazing!
The vacant land located at 23-25 Erin Street, Wilsinton is being swiftly transformed into a warm and welcoming early learning setting which is set to provide approximately 100 places to families who live and work in the suburbs of Wilsonton, Wilsonton Heights, Rockville and Newtown.
Over the past couple of months, the interior walls, insulation and cabinetry have been installed. Many of the larger outdoor elements are complete with shade sails, sandpits, sensory play area and wooden structures in place.
Inspired by the Hamptons
Many of the features seen throughout the new service has been inspired by elements often seen in Hamptons design which lends itself so readily to our hot, Queensland climate.
- Spacious and sophisticated design where rustic meets casual
- Natural elements including wood, grass and stone
- Soft colour palette of blue, grey, greens, sand and whites
- Homely weatherboard exterior
All of these elements combine to create a warm, welcoming, unfussy early learning setting where children feel relaxed and happy so that they can start or continue their learning journey with us.
More Good News
Not only will our service provide the creature comforts of home including nutritious meals, nappies and quality, educational programs, we’ve also engaged an experienced Service Manager who is in the process of planning lots of exciting things for our new little learners.
