Meet our new Service Manager for Story House Lara, Lee-Anne Conder. Leanne has worked in the early learning and care sector since 1998 and started out her career as an assistant in the toddler room. She then took on various room leader roles before being given the opportunity to work as a 2IC and then eventually, a Service Manager.
Lee-Anne worked briefly in the head office of a childcare provider but genuinely missed being part of a service family and the relationships that she was fortunate to create. So, she went back to continue working directly with children and families – a passion we identified immediately and an attribute we genuinely value here at Story House.
Lee-Anne grew up in country South Australia before moving to Alice Springs where she began her career before finally moving to Victoria many years ago. She has two teenage daughters who inspire her every day to be a better person, to dream big and to continue to set and achieve personal goals along the way. With that in mind, she is aiming to run an Ultra Marathon of 100kms after completing 60kms along the beautiful coastline near Portland. Lee-Anne is also an avid animal lover with five rather big horses, (Lee-Anne is just 5ft tall), four cats, and a boisterous dog – she calls it her farm.
All of us at Story House Early Learning welcome Lee-Anne to the team and we wish her all the best as she settles in to her new role.
