Our prep room have displayed a strong interest in recycling over the past weeks since participating in clean up Australia day.
We extending on this by providing the children with the opportunity to recycle the cans and bottles from our sustainability station at the return and earn machine.
Afterwards the children were excited to visit Woolworths and cash in their tickets for money to take back to the centre.
When we returned back to school the garbage truck arrived which opened up a discussion about where the rubbish goes once the truck leaves. We look forward to further extending on this interest in future weeks.
