Hello, my name is Helen I have been working in childcare since 1993, first joining the industry as the centre cook. At a very early stage, it was clear to me that although I had a passion for cooking, I had found a new love and a deeper purpose caring for and educating children. Despite being a fully qualified Chef, I endeavoured to start a career as an early childhood educator and returned to the classroom to complete a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Over the years I have worked very closely with families to achieve the best outcomes for the children and built many strong relationships with the children, families, and the community. I have always had a very holistic view of my role in the children and families lives and have always believed that the early years are the foundation for children to build their future selves, which is what makes being an educator an extremely important role. I aim to lead the team of educators through each day to ensure that every child is provided with the opportunity to build their best self. I’m extremely passionate about the work that I do and take pride myself on delivering an outstanding service to the children and families. Upon reflecting each day,  I feel incredibly humbled to work alongside the team to positively impact the lives of so many people.
