Building relationships with others in the community is always heartwarming. Recently we have embarked on a collaborative journey with the Merri River School.
The VCAL students (Victorian Certificate of Acquired Learning) have been supporting our children’s learning by making playdough and coloured rice for our children to engage in sensory play. This helps the VCAL students to achieve their learning goals by helping them to achieve their study requirements.
The students in the woodworking program have created fabulous mud kitchens and outdoor sensory trays so as our children can explore the wonderful natural elements of mud and sand. We look forward to continue working with them for a very long time.

Our collaborative journey with the Merri River School continues….
The VCAL students have been supporting our children’s learning by making mud kitchens, playdough etc. This week it was our turn to give back. The school provides a positive behaviour plan that is based on the core values of the school. The students earn “Polly dollars” that they can redeem at their “shop” to reward them for working towards these values. It was our pleasure today to help them fill their “shop”.
