Our unique, custom-designed building features large classrooms flooded with natural light and directly accessible to the outdoor learning areas. Our environments and specialised early learning programs are specifically designed to encourage children to explore the world around them and inspire a sense of creation and wonder that will promote ongoing inquiry and a life-long love of learning that they can carry throughout their entire education journey.

Our educators scaffold children’s learning, through a responsive curriculum and a commitment to assist children in their search for meaning. Here at Story House we acknowledge the many ways that children express themselves and communicate.

At Story House in Epping, our community embraces families, empowering them to become involved in their child’s education. Our aim is to provide a safe, secure and learning environment where children can develop their intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and verbal skills to become competent and confident individuals.

All of the staff and management are amazing and we are very pleased with our decision to choose Story House Epping for our daughters early education and care. Facility is always clean and very well maintained, children eat nutritious and healthy food and children receive individual attention and care, tailored education to their needs. Hi My name is Kamal, I am the service manager here at our SHEL Epping Service. I started out as an educator, then moved into the Assistant Service Manager role and now very honoured to be leading the team as Service Manager. Overall, I have been in the Early Childhood Sector since 2015.
As an educator, my belief is that children are capable, competent, co-contributors and active participants in their own learning. We must provide positive learning opportunities and experiences for children so they can become confidant and supreme learners in a supportive environment to promote their holistic development. I also really enjoy working strongly to build positive relationships with Children, families, and our incredible team we have working here at SHEL Epping. I believe that we should all be treated equally, respect, celebrate and embrace different cultures and beliefs for each and everyone of us.
I am also a very proud mother to my own 2 children and love watching them grow into the amazing young people they are becoming. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and baking delicious treat for us all to enjoy.
