Oak on Jellicoe Welcomes New Service Manager
Oak on Jellicoe recently welcomed Megan Davis as the new Service Manager. The previous Service Manager, Sarah Dewhurst is moving on to prepare to open and manage our brand-new Toowoomba service in Erin Street. Megan and Sarah look forward to working together to ensure a smooth transition for the Oak team as well as children and their families.
Megan joins the Oak team with lived experience as a busy mother to four incredible children and with professional qualifications having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood in the United Kingdom.
As a Mum who has always worked full time, she understands the pressures that come with a busy family life and she knows how important it is to be able to leave your child in an environment that is warm, safe and caring which is why she values building relationships with families, children and her team and strives to provide the highest quality of educational care possible.
The service is fortunate to have Megan who brings 16 years of experience in early childhood education working in two different countries. Her experience leading teams and working with families has reinforced her value of maintaining an open-door policy. She always seeks to understand and appreciates feedback as an opportunity for learning and improvement. We are thrilled that Megan brings a collaborative and community mindset with her to Oak on Jellicoe.
Megan joins Service Managers, Sarah Dewhurst (Oak on Erin) and Tanya Richardson (Oak on South) to form a remarkable team who are leading the way in providing quality education and care for Toowoomba families across all three services.
