Outdoor movie nights are fast becoming a hit at Story House Deception Bay. With the first movie night in April being a resounding success, Service Manager, Chay Slattery decided to do it all over again recently with the ever popular movie ‘Frozen’ beamed onto the large outdoor screen.
Braving the also ‘freezing’ weather, moviegoers rugged up with blankets, Oodies and warm drinks to watch (and sing along) with Elsa and Olaf – what a treat!
At the final count, we had 97 people attend. Chay is planning to host another movie night when the weather warms up later in the year. So be sure to stay connected on the Deception Bay Facebook page and gear up for popcorn and fairy floss – hopefully we can trade in those Oodies for tank tops next time – and maybe an ice-cream (or 2!).
