At Story House Tarneit, children in our 3 year old room visit weekly to take care of our fruit trees. Each of the children take turns to water our trees . While watering, the children talk about the different fruits that are growing and how important it is to look after them. The children also help pull the weeds out when we notice the garden becoming a bit untidy.
Gardening is the perfect activity to encourage children to get outside and play in nature while learning about the world.
