We’re lucky to have a highly skilled team, and many of our educators have been with us since the service first opened. Our team offers a friendly, nurturing, and caring approach while creating a homely feel for you and your child.

We have a diverse team with many educators that speak multiple languages. This is really beneficial to the needs in our community and offers familiarity for the children in our care while providing comfort and a positive bond between a child’s home atmosphere and our service. We’ve found that this is very beneficial to the settling process for new families attending our service.

We offer unlimited orientation sessions for our families and their children, believing that children are individuals and each child needs to settle in in their own time and become confident in their new environment. We provide exceptional care with a balance of child-initiated and educator-led experiences to help all children in our care to reach their full potential.

We absolutely loved our experience at Story House Springvale. All of the educators and centre manager have such a kind, caring approach and my son feels like a family and very settled at the centre. The daily activities are always fun, engaging and intentional. An exceptional centre that I would highly recommend to families looking for care.

The personalised level of care is the highest of importance for me, and my son always receives the greatest care and attention. I also love the effort, level and variety of experiences and activities that are set up inside and outside the senior toddlers room.

My son has made so much developmental progress thanks to the educators at Springvale South. They plan educational activities that suit each kids needs and have helped my son gain a larger vocabulary, logic skills and he has learned to play with others. He feels so welcome and loved there and always looks forward to coming back. It’s like a home away from home.

Hello my name is Loreto Astorga and I am the Service Manager at Story House Springvale South.

I hold a Diploma in children services. My Early childhood journey started when I moved to Australia in 2013. I have been working in Early childhood for 11 years now and it has been an incredible experience. During these years, I have been able to take on different roles, working with different age groups allowing me to gain an extensive knowledge in different areas.

What I love about Early Childhood Education is that no two children are the same. They all grow and learn in their own individual way. As educators we are there to support them, guide them and help them flourish into little humans that will make a difference in the future. I strongly believe that your child’s first experiences in early childhood education should be positive as it establishes their attitude for learning for their whole life.

As Service Manager my main priority is to provide high quality care and education as well as maintaining a safe and healthy environment not only for children, but their families and educators and to create a positive experience for everyone that comes into the centre.

At Story House Springvale South we aim to provide families with the best experience possible form the first time they come to our centre. We are here to support you and your child to achieve the best learning outcomes.
